The rich aquatic environment of the continental shelf is just eleven nautical miles offshore. With access to a boat ramp, and a diverse range of magnificent fishing spots, all anglers are virtually guaranteed to bring home a 'big one'! There are fish cleaning tables at the boat ramp for the successful angler to use.
Delight in strolling through the bush or swimming in the safety of the serene beach with the children. Go snorkeling in the pristine waters of Korogoro Creek and see the fish, occasional sea turtle and other aquatic creatures. Bring your kayak or surf ski and explore the Korogoro Creek waterway. Watch the whales from the headland as they migrate between June and August. Being only a hop, step and jump from the creek, beach or bush, it's an outdoor, nature based holiday… a breath of fresh air!
Modern Facilities
Hat Head Holiday Park offers large camping sites; some with concrete slabs, and and all are ideal for those who want to bring their boat. After your successful fishing trips, you can gather the family together around the free BBQ's in the wonderful undercover facilities, and enjoy the meal. The kiosk sells, LPG gas, ice, ice-creams, drinks, milk, cakes and a selection of confectionary.
For those who are feeling energetic, why not indulge in a bit of tennis on the nearby tennis courts - play with the kids at the onsite playground, or wander to the nearby shops and post office. Throughout the day the local Bowling Club's close proximity offers enjoyable family dining and entertainment.
Comfortable Cabins
Hat Head Holiday Park has on site cabins available. Some are equipped with an ensuite, and there is a disabled cabin, as well as disabled toilets and showers. For your comfort, cabins are all equipped with colour TV, video and microwave. (Linen, pillows, blankets and bath towels are not provided).
Hat Head Holiday Park provides large expanses of parkland for both caravanners and campers to explore and enjoy.
